摘要
The influences of topography on solitary Rossby waves are discussed by using a barotropic atmosphericmodel.The results show that the topography is an important factor exciting solitary Rossby waves,and itseffects are different with different height scales.Two different patterns of solitary Rossby waves are obtainedby using numerical calculation.
