<正> The inaugurating meeting and the first assembly of China Editology Society of Science Periodicals were hold in Beijing on March 4—7, 1987. Participated in the meeting wore leaders of the Government Departments, Scientific and Technological Communittes and 188 representatives from the scientific and technological editors in the fields of natural sciences as well as technological, agricultural, and medical sciences all over the country.
