<正> This paper discusses learner-centeredness, learner centeredapproaches and evaluation in material design. It starts with aliterature review on some current theories on the definitions of"learner-centeredness" and learner-centered approaches inmaterials design. Thereafter, based on the researches in thisfield, a framework is developed for the evaluation of learner-centered components contained in English language teachingand learning materials.
