Thispaper triesto illustrate the relationship between humor and culture.The emphasisof the paper isto make clear the significant role that culture plays in the understanding of internal meaning of humors.In the end,this paper also makes a brief explanation of the differences between Chinese and western humors to stress again the cultural glamour embodied in humor.
