摘要
This paper introduces a (Seismogram Digitization and Database Management System( (SDDMS), which is developed using Delphi3, and present the key technique of automatically extracting wave data from paper seismograms. The system has various functions, such as paper seismogram digitization, database management and data analysis, etc. With this system it is possible to analyze historical paper seismograms using modern computers. Application of this system will be of help to the progress in earthquake prediction and seismological researches.
