Weisskopf,Moszkowski and Stech have discussed the transitionprobability of γ-ray emission by nuclei according to the single particle model.In particular,Stech made a detailed investigation into the part played bythe anomalous magnetic moment of the nucleon in the γ-decay process.Amoving magnetic dipole exhibits an electric dipole proportional to v/c,wherev is the speed of the moving magnetic dipole and c is the speed of thclight.The effects of the anomalous magnetic moment can be describedphenomenologically by inserting the following terms
