<正> THE existence of periodic solutions of Lienard equation with finite delay x(t) + f(x(t))x(t) + g(x(t-r))=0 (1)has been studied extensively. However, most works we have so far require the assumption thatx·g(x)>0 for all x∈R, x≠0, which is not true for some equations with strong practicalbackground. For example, the sunflower equation
