摘要：

- Based on the linear tidal wave theory and ignoring the influence of friction effects, two mathematical models have been presented for evaluating the amplification factor of harbour resonance caused by long-period waves. Besides, a physical model of fishing port has been conducted for verifying these two mathematical models. Agreement between experimental and theoretical results is found to be favorable.
