摘要
Edgar Allan Poe was an American poet, short fiction writer and critic. He was also a master of the horror tale, and the pa-tron saint of the detective story. Based on the perspective of Freud's"uncanny"theory,this paper analyzes the creation of the effectof terror and explores the theme of The Black Cat.
