English, for various reasons, has expanded from local through national to international domains.Thus, it is now acquiring itself a new identity of the global language.However, along with its thriving development, new variants of English emerged and now are referred as "Englishes", which shoulder not only cultural, economic, political, but also, most importantly, educational responsibilities.This paper discusses the process that English went through to become Englishs, makes a list of several ways that Englishes have been catergorized, and finally reveals the implications of teaching and learning Englishes in EFL contexts.
