Tuberculosis (TB) is a chronic disease caused by infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.Laboratory confirmation of this infection is challenging due to the paucibacillary nature of extrapulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB). Bacteriological confirmation of EPTB generally requires collection of invasive specimens using needle aspiration biopsy to allow histopathological analysis,
