摘要
<正> Acupuncture has been experimentally proved to be capable of exciting various groups of fibres. However, opinions differ as to which group of fibres is mainly responsible for conveying analgesic impulses. While some consider that large-sized fibres are concerned with analgesia, others maintain that the engagement of Group Ⅲ fibres will produce better analgesic effect. As for the role played by Group Ⅳ fibres in the effect of analgesia, some authors take a negative attitude, being void of sufficient evidence.
