The U.S. graduate admission system is a highly, if not the most, advanced system of its kind in the world. Much can belearned from this system and can be applied to improve other educational systems. This essay summarizes the components of theU.S. graduate admission process, analyzes the features of the system, and raises points of the U.S. system that might be helpful forimproving China's graduate admission system.
