Inquiry-based learning is a new kind of teaching method.Teachers’questioning is a very significant part of inquiry-based classroom teaching;it is an essential activity in English class.In order to pose questions successfully in classroom,teachers must master the art of questioning.This article studies the roles,types,strategies and the like of questioning in English class.
