Housewives Should be Paid

It is impossible to render a final description of women’s status in present day societies without examining whether their labor is duly recognized and rewarded.However,housewives as a prominent group of women who have devoted themselves into their roles as mothers and home makers have neither been recognized as productive laborer nor rewarded financially.This essay intends to elucidate the legitimacy of paying housewives from three aspects:housewives’entitlement to payment,the value of housewives’labor and the benefit thereof.In doing so,facts,statistics and case analysis will be provided to support the conclusion.
