AIM: To study the characterization of Ca2+-dependent K~+-currents induced by activation of α1b-adrenoceptor subtype. METHODS: Standard patch-clamp technique. RESULTS: Phenylephrine evoked an outward K~+-current with a conductance of 160-pS. This current was not
