摘要
This paper examines the knowledge sharing behaviour (KSB) of polytechnic academics by considering KSB as a multidimensional construct from the standpoint of three independent variables: knowledge management factors (KMF), knowledge management resources (KMR), and knowledge management processes (KMP). Despite several studies on the KSB of academics, there is a paucity of inquiries into the KSB of polytechnic lecturers. A survey research design was employed using a two-stage sampling technique. KMF, KMR, and KMP had a combined influence on the KSB of lecturers. The results further showed that KMR had the highest contribution to the KSB of lecturers. The adjusted coefficient of determination indicated that KMF, KMR, and KMP jointly accounted for 42.5% of the changes in KSB among lecturers. The study concludes that an enabling work environment must exist that motivates polytechnic lecturers to interact and share knowledge without prejudice imbibing the collectivistic nature of an effective knowledge-sharing culture.
