摘要
Product and process information is a decisive factor along the value chain of a product when it comes to adherence to delivery dates, quality, machine utilization or compensation for failures. Tracking of products inside and outside the company across site boundaries enables the company to react to delays, improve order planning and create greater processing transparency. Ultra-wideband radio technology and GPS are suitable basic technologies for the implementation of tracking processes inside and outside factories. © Carl Hanser Verlag GmbH & Co. KG.
