More companies rely on Shop Floor Management (SFM) to enhance the performance of their production and to involve their employees in improvement activities. This article shows how the different stages of the SFM control cycle can be advanced through. The implementation of digital Shop Floor Management (dSFM) is structured in three steps: In a first step the production processes as well as the available data, key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals are analysed. Afterwards, KPIs, tasks and problem solving are matched digitally.
