Natural convection of ternary nanofluid in triangular cavity: A numerical study

This study addresses the heat transfer enhancement in a porous cavity using ternary nanoparticle. The model incorporates Rosseland radiative flux and compare thermal behavior in a cavity oriented in the normal and inclined planes. Key parameters examined include nanoparticle volume fraction, magnetic field strength, Rayleigh number, and thermal radiation. Numerical solutions are obtained using a finite difference scheme implemented in MATLAB. Results reveal that the ternary nanofluid outperforms conventional base fluid in thermal performance. Increasing nanoparticle concentration notably enhances heat transfer.
