摘要
One-dimensional consolidation with exponential flow was analyzed considering time-dependent loading in actual engineering. A series of consolidation curves were obtained by means of semi-analytical method combining numerical discretization with analytical solutions for consolidation of layered soil. Consolidation behavior was analyzed under change of a certain parameter. Results show that consolidation rate increases with increasing the exponent during early stage of consolidation and decreases with increasing the exponent during later stage of consolidation. If the exponent is less than 1, the larger the loading is, the slower consolidation rate is; if the exponent is greater than 1, the larger the loading is, the faster consolidation rate is. Whatever the value of exponent is, the average consolidation degree decreases with increasing thickness of soil layer at the same consolidation time; the consolidation rate accelerates with increasing loading rate.
