摘要
This work presents an improved implementation of a home automation system based on cost-effective and wireless IoT technology. The system enables easy control of home appliances through smartphones, offering both human-controllable and automated features. The NodeMCU ESP32 is utilized to execute this prototype, ensuring seamless functionality. With the proposed application, users can remotely access and control various home equipment using a user ID and password. This wireless model allows users to conveniently switch ON or OFF electrical devices from afar. Additionally, the system has an add-on feature of voice control, further enhancing its usability. A key focus of this work lies in promoting energy efficiency by managing electrical devices more efficiently. By replacing traditional systems with our designed solution, users can significantly reduce energy wastage, leading to an improved lifestyle.
