Aiming at the different viewpoints of different participants, a conceptual design expression hierarchy model based on multi-viewpoint was put forward to coordinate the conceptual design activities of the participants, as well as to deliver the specific design information to the related designers. Three mapping mechanisms for realizing multi-viewpoint conceptual design modeling were set up. The multi-viewpoint information management module of computer aided conceptual design prototype system was analyzed by using SysML language, and the multi-viewpoint information management module was developed. The conceptual design of ice tea machine was taken as an example to illustrate the conceptual design process based on multi-viewpoint, which could realize the coordination of different participants and reduce the design risks.
