摘要
In this correspondence, the two-dimensional (2-D) direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation problem for partially polarized (PP) signals is considered. In particular, we focus on an array geometry containing three identical uniform linear arrays (ULAs). Compared with existing methods, the proposed one has three main advantages. Firstly, the estimation accuracy is higher since it exploits the polarization information. Secondly, it can work effectively under the coexistence of both noncircular and circular signals. Finally, pair matching for 2-D DOA is not required which reduces the computational complexity. Simulation results are presented verifying the efficacy of the algorithm. © 2017, Electromagnetics Academy. All rights reserved.
