摘要
In recent years, with the development of economy and society, the quality of English for talents has been improved, and the reform of College English teaching has gradually deepened. But from the actual effect, it has not reached the expected goal. The reform has entered a bottleneck stage, and the domestic English education sector is also in the anxiety period. In this context, ESP teaching emphasizes the teaching strategy of applying knowledge caters to the target needs of the public English education in the predicament. However, there are some problems in the teaching of college spoken English, such as the lack of practical teaching content and the disconnection from the specialized courses. This paper points out that it is necessary to make full use of ESP to guide oral English Teaching in universities, to reform the existing curriculum system, and to explore the implementation strategies of ESP and oral English teaching, so as to help students improve their oral English proficiency.
