Environmental odor problems can be very annoying and exhausting for all involved; the company(ies) that emit, the people who suffer from odor exposure and the authorities responsible for maintaining a balanced work environment. Citizens often complain that they are not taken seriously and that there is a lack of understanding about what happened. It is difficult and unthinkable to imagine that only by the effects of calm winds, or the effect of meteorology, the probability of reaching the community increases or decreases. A successful odor management process therefore requires access to a comprehensive set of relevant information on odor and others, as well as an effective communication strategy for stakeholders. It must be able to collect and display relevant information about odor data and from various sources in order to provide a holistic view of the emission, transport and impact.
