摘要
With the exponential growth of artificial intelligence (AI) use across all areas of human activity, its application in scientific research and various creative endeavors is no exception. Today, we are already convinced that artificial intelligence can find faster, more efficient, and more accurate solutions than humans, because it is able to work with significantly larger amounts of information in a short time. This is especially attractive and important in research, when it is necessary to review rapidly growing amounts of information. AI based systems are expanding their capabilities rapidly to perform diverse tasks, and their performance becoming similar to that of a human. From the point of view of academic and research ethics, it is important to identify the authenticity of the work and its authorship. Since AI is not yet considered an author, is relevant to identify its use in scientific works so that there can be no doubt about the sufficiently significant contribution of human as an author to the development of a research idea. At first glance, it seems that detection applications could solve academic ethics problems regarding the use of AI. However, AI developing faster than the detection tools. Today it is clear that more AI detection tools are not sufficient solution for the complex ethical issues. Therefore, there is a growing and more confident discourse around the vision of enabling artificial intelligence itself to engage in moral action.
