This paper investigates the finite-time stability of nonlinear stochastic delay systems with delayed impulses. Firstly, based on the average implusive interval and the comparison principle of implusive systems, some sufficient conditions for finite-time stability of systems are established. Secondly, based on implusive control theory, we investigate finite-time stability of nolinear stochastic delay systems involving stabilizing impluses and destabilizing impluses. Then the results are applied to the linear system by using linear matrix inequalities and stochastic analysis techniques. Finally, two numerical examples are presented to verify the validity of the results. © 2025 South China University of Technology. All rights reserved.
