摘要
Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is an acute, diffuse, inflammatory form of lung injury and life-threatening illness, characterized by poor oxygenation and pulmonary infiltrates. High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), noninvasive ventilation (NIV), and awake prone are proven to be effective in recent studies. This care study includes two case studies of young individuals who were treated successfully and recovered through pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory therapy after the intensive care management of ARDS. The case in question thus opens the vista to highlight the critical role advanced respiratory interventions play within management. Recovery for the patient, facilitated by the timely use of HFNC, NIV, and prone positioning, draws attention to the evolving success of noninvasive strategies related to the treatment of ARDS and restoring lung function to set the stage for effective pulmonary rehabilitation following intensive care.
