Effects of heights and height differences of piers on dynamic characteristics and seismic response of parallel bridges

摘要
Unequal-high parallel bridges are different from those of conventional symmetric structures. The correlation between heights and height differences of piers to dynamic characteristics and seismic response was provided. Using a project as the background, the effects on dynamic characteristics and seismic response was studied by modifying height and height difference. The results show that the frequency is negatively correlated with heights and height differences of piers. Seismic response, which is not affected by height differences, increases with heights. ©, 2015, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. All right reserved.
