摘要
Ctenobelba (Oribatida, Ctenobelbidae) currently comprises five subgenera and 35 species, collectively distributed in the Palaearctic and Oriental regions. We describe a new species-C. (Berndamerus) hauthi sp. nov.-based on adult females collected from leaf litter of a valley on the Ionian island Corfu, Greece. The new species differs from the related species C. (B.) hellenica in body size, the morphology of the rostrum, the morphology of the bothridial and notogastral setae, the distance between notogastral setae h2-h2, and the notogastral surface. The generic diagnosis is revised. An identification key to the known species of Ctenobelba is provided.http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:DEF02C3E-6BDD-4654-8D9D-A6EF37E57FCC
