Semidefinite programming algorithms for range-based cooperative localization in wireless sensor networks

To estimate the source location precisely, the range-based least square (SRL), square range-based least square (SRLS) and square range-based least optimization (SRL) methods are introduced in this paper. Then the corresponding RLS-SDP, SRLS-SDP and SRL-SDP approaches is proposed by relaxing the optimization equations. The simulations test the performance of three different approaches and the impacts of noises. The results show that the performance of three SDP algorithms degrades as the noises increase. Compared with RLS-SDP and SRLS-SDP approaches, the RMSE of SRL-SDP approach is larger at small noises. However as the noises increase, SRL-SDP approach will perform better than RLS-SDP and SRLS-SDP approaches. ©, 2015, Binary Information Press. All right reserved.
