摘要
This paper proposes a novel wideband high-gain circularly-polarized antenna that consists of a linearly-polarized printed dipole antenna and a metasurface with cross-polarization conversion. With the appropriate reflection phase and distance between the dipole and the metasurface, the circularly-polarized radiation waves can be achieved by the upward radiation wave from the dipole and the reflected wave from the metasurface. An example is designed, fabricated and measured. The measured results show a 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 12.8% and a peak gain of 9.83 dBi.
