摘要
Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) has been considered as a promising technology in the next-generation wireless communication systems, since it can improve the coverage and power efficiency because of its ability to reflect the signal with a controlled phase shift. Inspired by this, in our proposed cooperative radar-communication system, the base station (BS) signal is also used for detection at the radar, while the IRSs are utilized at the radar and BS to enhance the signal transmission and receiving simultaneously. A successive IRS phase shift optimization method is proposed to get the suboptimal phase shift with low computational complexity. The convergence performance and quantization of IRS phase shift are discussed. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of utilizing the IRS and BS to improve the detection performance regarding the detector's SNR.
