摘要
Synthesis of bioglass is a complex process involving either sophisticated equipments or requires bulk synthesis to produce particles. Our device, which is first of its kind, having serpentine and spiral-shaped geometries was fabricated to overcome these limitations. The obtained bioglass particles were uniformly shaped spherical, with a size between 300-400 nm. The particles produced were both biocompatible and non- toxic in nature obtained by cellular studies and MTT assay. They demonstrated a good antibacterial effect and had a biomineralization efficiency of 80%. Thus, these particles exhibit a huge potential as a biomaterial for hard and soft regeneration.
