摘要
A dual-polarized wideband millimeter-wave(mm-wave) phased linear array has been designed. The two polarization directions of the antenna are formed by planar ultrawideband modular antenna array (PUMA) and Magnetoelectric (ME) dipole, Overcoming the problem of insufficient coupling in one polarization direction of a 1-D dual polarized tightly coupled linear array. Simulation results indicate that the infinite array can cover a bandwidth of 24.25 to 40 GHz, containing the 5G NR frequency bands n257, n258, n260, and n261. It can achieve 30 degrees scanning for pol-x and pol-y. By combining the wideband performance of these two types of antennas, a 1x8 finite linear array can simultaneously meet the requirements for bandwidth and scanning angle.
