摘要
This paper makes some significant contributions to global stability problems of linear neutral systems involving multiple time delay terms in states and multiple neutral delay terms in the time derivative of the states of the system. By considering a newly defined Lyapunov functional candidate, some novel sets of stability criteria are determined for such types of neutral systems including time-varying delay terms. The proposed results determine global asymptotic stability of such neutral systems. Besides, our results totally rely on some constraint conditions imposed on constant system parameters, and on the time derivatives of time and neutral delay terms. We analyze a proper numerical example to address some main advantages of the results of the current article over some previously reported results. Various numerical results are also given to exhibit the applicability of stability conditions obtained. Since finding proper stability criteria for neutral systems including multiple delay components is obviously a hard duty to overcome, due to various parametric complexities of the mathematical models of these systems, the stability criteria we propose may simply be considered as valuable contributions to of stability issues of neutral systems involving multiple delay terms.
