摘要
Many methods have been proposed in recent years to calculate the carrying capacity of environment and resources (CCER), which is an important parameter to evaluate regional sustainable developing capability. However, the relationships between indexes of CCER were not fully considered in the existing methods. In this paper, the relations of indexes which are common used in the assessment of carrying capacity of environment and resources (CCER) are studied, and four kinds of relations are proposed: Parallel relation, coordinated relation, independent relation and opposite relation. Moreover, the methods to integrate indexes of different relations have also been proposed respectively. Then the CCER of Central Plains Economic Region (CPER) of China is evaluated with the proposed method and demonstrated in GIS. The result shows that the index system is more reasonable while all relations between indexes are specified, and the method could assess CCER reliably. ©, 2015, Editorial Board of Journal of Basic Science and Engineering.
