Quality management according to ISO 9001 has become industrial standard for manufacturing enterprises. Despite audited quality management systems there are often to be found quality problems and deficient process quality in practice. In its latest revision the ISO standard gives more responsibility to executives as regards the efficiency of quality management. The question, however, is which methods and tools do they actually have to meet the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015? This article describes a possible approach. © Carl Hanser Verlag, München.
