摘要
The paper introduces a novel antenna design featuring a circularly polarized Y-shaped dielectric resonator (DRA). The proposed DRA is excited by a diagonally oriented asymmetric cross-shaped slot and fed via a microstrip line. The asymmetry in the cross-shaped slot and orientation of Y-shaped DRA generate circular polarization at multiple frequency bands. The antenna structure is analyzed using commercially available EM simulation software, and a parametric study is discussed in the paper. The proposed DR antenna structure demonstrates a 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 1.7% (7.69-7.83 GHz), 3.37% (8.27-8.55 GHz) & 1.4% (8.78-8.91 GHz) and impedance bandwidth of 2.2% (7.70-7.88) and 8.9% (8.22-9.00) has been achieved for overlapping circularly polarized band.
