摘要
A hybrid dielectric resonator antenna with wide band and high-efficiency is presented in this paper. Pure water is used as the dielectric of the cylindrical resonator antenna. The air layer is inserted between the water and the ground plane to improve the radiation efficiency and increase the bandwidth of the antenna. Moreover, another mode is introduced by using the monopole characteristic of coaxial probe. The probe not only acts as the feed structure, but also participates in the radiation of the antenna. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna achieves 43.7% (3.4 GHz-5.3 GHz) and the radiation efficiency is 70%-90%.
