摘要
According to the problem existing the measurement instruments in the measurement of the non-cooperative target in close range, this paper analyzes the possibility of the time-of-flight (ToF) camera in space application. Firstly, the research status of the relative measurement of the non-cooperative targets in close range and the existing measurement methods are summarized. Secondly, the principle and development of the ToF cameras are introduced and the typical feature of the non-cooperative targets is chosen as an example to analyze the performance indices of the ToF cameras. Thirdly, the ToF cameras and the existing measurement methods in close range are compared in terms of the performance and the key techniques involved are sorted out. Finally, the development trends of the ToF cameras and their applications in space are prospected. © 2016, Editorial Dept. of JA. All right reserved.
