摘要
Based on the goals for the performance recovery of diesel engine at different altitudes, and through the parameter estimation and matching of turbocharging system, the matching scheme between a V type six-cylinder diesel engine and the turbocharging system with exhaust gas relieve valve is determined. The external characteristic and part load characteristics of diesel engine at varying altitudes are calculated with GT-Power simulation software, and the full condition control strategy of turbocharging system is finally worked out. The simulation results show that in full load condition, the turbocharging system based on high-altitude match can meet the requirement of air induction work consumed by closing exhaust gas release valve, achieving the goal of power recovery of diesel engine at varying altitudes. With the fall of altitude, the turbocharging system can appropriately open the release valve based on the change in induction work consumed to ensure the normal operation of diesel engine. In full range of working conditions, the opening of release valve will gradually reduce with the increase of altitude, and completely shut down when altitude is above 3000 m. © 2016, Society of Automotive Engineers of China.
