摘要
Cold-formed thin-walled steel (CFTWS) is widely used in the construction field due to its advantages of light weight and high strength. This study is dedicated to summarizing a series of buckling issues related to CFTWS members. The paper first introduces important basic concepts related to the buckling of CFTWS and provides some commonly used research methods to help readers quickly delve into the issues they are interested in. By reviewing the existing literature in chronological order, the study discusses the current research status of CFTWS columns and beams. The results show that the existing literature generally focuses on the effects of slenderness ratio, initial imperfections, cross-sectional shape, and openings on the buckling performance of members. Compared with CFTWS compression members, existing studies on flexural members are relatively scarce, and they mainly focus on low-strength steel. Finally, based on the deficiencies in existing research, the paper clarifies the future research directions. This paper can provide valuable references for the promotion and application of CFTWS structure technology.
