Aimed at preliminarily validating the feasibility of 100%MOX fuel loaded in advanced PWRs and researching several issues of MOX fuel application in PWRs, the SCIENCE code package imported from France was used to design the MOX fuel assembly and core fuel management. The results show that the principal calculation results of fuel management satisfy the design criteria of PWRs, and it preliminarily proves that the 100%MOX fuel management is feasible and lays the foundation for next research. © 2015, Atomic Energy Press.
