摘要
In recent years, there has been a growing interest in image encryption based on chaotic systems. In this paper, an improved architecture of chaotic cryptosystem for image encryption is proposed. Firstly, a part of initial key is used as the parameter and initial value of chaotic map to permute plainimage, and makes the other part relate to the permuted image. Then another parameter and initial value of chaotic map are generated via the key related to the permuted image to encrypt image based on the diffusion operation. Due to the relevance between the key and the permuted plainimage, the improved architecture can enhance the security of chaotic cryptosystem without any increase of running time. Compared with the state of the art, experimental results demonstrate that our scheme outperforms previous works. Finally, theoretical analyses and numerical experimental results show that the proposed chaos-based architecture possesses high security and is suitable for protecting the image information.
