摘要
The design and results of a small compact printed monopole antenna with a peak gain of 2.2dBi for multiband applications are presented in this research work. A study lamp shaped radiating element is printed over FR4 substrate of size 22.5mmx9.5mm with an asymmetric ground to give a return loss less than -10dB is mentioned in this paper. This monopole antenna works in an operating frequency of ranges 2.382.54GHz, 3.40-3,61GHz, and 5.16-7.29GHz providing a bandwidth of 160MHz, 210Mz and 2130MHz respectively. This antenna covers the modern technology applications of IEEE Standards 802.11 (WLAN), 802.16a (WiMAX), and 802.11p LTE-V2V performance. The measured results and hardware prototype of the proposed antenna is demonstrated in this paper.
