摘要：

This review critiques Sean Wallis's Statistics in Corpus Linguistics Research: A New Approach . Wallis introduces research design and statistical methods in corpus linguistics, proposing the choice-based approach which underlines the application of the Wilson interval. This article will review the main contents of this book and evaluate the proposed new approach.
