摘要
Pelvic floor disorders are complex and multifactorial, often necessitating multiple therapies. MRD has emerged as a leading imaging study for evaluation of patients with symptoms of OD, allowing detailed evaluation of pelvic floor anatomy and function without ionizing radiation. MRD can differentiate structural and functional causes of OD and can identify occult abnormalities that may alter treatment approach and efficacy. Optimized imaging technique, increased radiologist comfort, and communication with referring physicians are needed to ensure maximal clinical benefit from these examinations.
