摘要
Global Positioning System (GPS) is generally used as navigation tool for aiding vehicles, soldiers, ships and planes against finding their locations accurately. In this context, system proposed will track and monitor movement of a university vehicle by including GPS unit and microcontroller for positioning and data processing respectively. Moreover, it includes a server oriented application for obtaining and processing location data and an interface for viewing information. This interface is user friendly which permits authenticated users for accessing location data by means of web page. The concerned web page link will be forwarded to those authenticated users by email. Ultimately, the system implementation involves development of hardware, firmware, server application and user interface.
